Lemonade and Other Things

Random Things That Strike My Fancy

Notes &

So the Bob Dylan concert last night= Amazing. Like mindblowingly cool. I was very very very impressed :D

First off, I was under the impression that he would mostly be playing newer rockabilly stuff that I didn’t know. I actually felt like I knew the vast majority of the songs, though he did change the classics around a bit(Lay Lady Lay, Like a Rolling Stone, Tangled up in Blue, etc.) He growled his way through them- but it was fun to hear them in a new way. I actually liked it more than if he had sang them like the original version, it just made it more interesting. I think the crowd was pretty into it too :D

My camera did some epic failing at taking pictures (illegal pictures apparently since there were signs telling me cameras were not allowed.), which furthers my opinion that I need a DSLR camera. Someday….

However, I did manage to get a few sorta-decent shots, so here ya go. It doesn’t at all capture how cool it was to be there though, I got goosebumps several times throughout the thing, and I cheered pretty hard for another encore since I was hoping for Forever Young and Mr. Tambourine Man.

The vast majority of my pictures look like this: So keep in mind that the shots you’re seeing ARE the good ones :D

I love this one: you can actually sort of see his face! :D We had pretty good seats in that we were off to one side, but his keyboard faced us, so he actually faced towards us for most of the concert!

And look: he even had a band! And this one is in focus!

This was during “Tangled Up In Blue”: I was so excited

WHAT?! It looks like I might not have been the only one there in cowboy boots… good taste Bob!

People went crazy during the harmonica solos- he was really getting into it. Consider my mind blown.

I wanted this last picture to come out so badly, but everyone jumped up to clap and it went all blurry :(

And leaving the stage after the encore:
